We collect absolutely nothing
Edge-Drop has no login system, no tracking codes, no telemetry, and no cookies. We don't want your data, we don't collect it, and we don't sell it. There are no servers for us to send it to.
Everything is 100% local
Whenever you copy text, images, or files, they are saved on your computer and your computer only (usually in your Local AppData folder). The app operates entirely offline.
Sensitive data protection
The app is designed to look at system clipboard flags and ignore sensitive data (like passwords copied from managers like 1Password or Bitwarden) so they don't end up on your shelf. If you ever copy something sensitive by accident, you can clear it instantly with the "Clear" button at the bottom of the panel.
Inspect the code
Because Edge-Drop is completely open-source, you don't have to take our word for it. You can inspect the entire codebase yourself on our GitHub repository.
About this website (not the app)
The website you are on uses Google Analytics to measure anonymous, aggregated usage — pages visited, rough region, device type. No ads are shown and nothing is sold. The Edge-Drop application itself still collects absolutely nothing: your clipboard data never leaves your machine.
