Edge Drop is a free, open-source clipboard manager for Windows that turns your clipboard into an interactive shelf on the edge of your screen. Hover the screen edge (or press Alt+C) to open it, click any card to paste it into the app you were using, and drag images and files straight into other apps with real Windows drag-and-drop.
Hover to Open
Move your pointer to the edge of the screen (left by default; right edge or a top dock are options) and the shelf slides out. Alt+C opens it too, and you can change that shortcut in Settings.
Copy to Save
Anything you copy (text, links, images, screenshots, files and colour codes) is saved on your shelf as a card. Click a card to paste it into the app you were using.
Drag & Drop
Drag images and files from your shelf straight into apps like Photoshop, Word, Slack and File Explorer using native Windows drag-and-drop.
Grouped Stacks
Copying multiple items automatically groups them into stacks of up to ten. Click to expand and view the files inside.
Split Stacks
Extract any file from a group into its own standalone card by dragging it back to the screen edge.
Merge Cards
Clean up your clipboard by dragging one card directly on top of another to combine them.
Private by design
Local only: no account, no cloud sync, no telemetry. Your history stays on your PC, and the history index is encrypted with Windows DPAPI.
